Workshop Details

This workshop equips faculty, staff, counselors, and advisors with the knowledge and tools to integrate AI into teaching and curriculum development. Participants will explore lesson planning, interactive content, dynamic assessments, and ethical AI use. Through hands-on activities and real-world examples, they’ll learn to enhance student engagement, streamline tasks, and prepare students for an AI-driven future. The workshop also prepares attendees for the Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals Certification exam (exam cost not included). View the workshop flyer for complete details (pdf).

Limited Travel Stipends Available

The NSF-ATE funded CCPI-STEM project is offering a limited number of $300 travel stipends for community college personnel from Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas. Four awards will be given to each state. If you are a selected recipient, you will be reimbursed after training is completed. To be considered, complete the Request for Travel Support form by May 20, 2026.

The workshop will be held on the beautiful campus of McLennan Community College in Waco, Texas. Take advantage of your trip to Waco and enjoy all the city has to offer, from the shops of Magnolia Market to the hiking trails of Cameron Park, the Dr Pepper Museum, and the Mammoth National Monument.
